Category: Aqua TROLL
The AquaTroll is a water quality monitoring device used by SERAG to better understand what is happening beneath the surface of the Great Brak Estuary. It continuously collects real-time data on key indicators such as oxygen levels, salinity, and temperature, giving a far more accurate picture of the estuary’s health than what we can see with the naked eye. This data is incredibly valuable because it helps track changes over time, challenges common misconceptions, and supports more informed, science-based decisions around estuary management. In many ways, the AquaTroll gives the estuary a voice by providing the evidence needed to guide meaningful, long-term rehabilitation.
